Earlier tonight Are You The Way Home? was aired by Radio Nipper in Argentina and across the world. We can use this thread for any airplay Mary-Jess gets on any radio station. Host Ana Leguìsamo Rameau plays classical crossover music on her show which airs at 9pm GMT on a Tuesday and Saturday. You can listen live on their website.. www.radionipper.com.ar/You can also like their page on Facebook and request songs the day before, which will now include Mary-Jess' music! www.facebook.com/pages/Radio-Nipper/150757028326567Mary-Jess knows and is delighted about this. If you join the Facebook group Classical Crossover Radio Our aim is to get more airplay for Classical Crossover on radio stations around the world! The list of stations is growing! I love being involved with this! Dazza

That's excellent. I also requested for some songs to played several weeks ago and all my requests were played. This is particularly good for Indie artists that get little or no airplay. Bob

Even the most established classical crossover artists barely get any airplay, they may play Katherine Jenkins occasionally, but in general Classic FM won't touch classical crossover.
This is something that we need to change, and are changing - slowly, for both signed and unsigned artists, all for the good of the genre.

It's amazing we can get the artists we support on Argentine, Brazil and Spanish radio but not in the UK where we have so many radio stations. Laura Wright seems to be on everything at the moment however. Let's hope some of our other artists like Mary Jess can also get a share of this in the future.

Laura is getting a lot of coverage right now because it is the Jubilee and she was chosen to sing the Diamond Jubilee song, as well as the release of her new album, although that doesn't really have anything to do with radio airplay, there is nothing I would love more than for Mary-Jess to get this coverage.
Unfortunately I think the UK radio market will be the toughest one to crack.
