I guess as I have created this place that I should introduce myself.
I am Dazza, most of you might know or recognise me from running All Angels International and Laura Wright International. I also post on various other forums of artists from the classical crossover genre.
I am 28 years old and my music taste is quite varied, as well as Mary-Jess, All Angels and Laura Wright I listen to a lot of music from a wide range of genres including Hayley Westenra, Katie Melua, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Coldplay, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, The Who & Pink Floyd. I could go on forever but it gives you the general idea.
I generally only attend classical crossover concerts though as well as the Classical Brits. I love the atmosphere and they are just a lot more intimate, the potential meet and greets just adds to the experience. I have met a lot of people and made a lot of friends since I started attending concerts and posting on crossover forums.
Away from music I work in manufacturing and the biggest love of my life is Stoke City FC, I have had a season ticket for the past 12 years and I try to get to as many away games as I can.
I also love watching fantasy and science fiction on film and television, including Harry Potter, Doctor Who and Supernatural. Fringe is the best thing on TV at the moment.
I hope that you all enjoy the forum.

Thank you Nicola, it is much appreciated.
I have made a much better and more detailed introduction thread on your Classical Crossover forum so I have edited this one here ;D

Thanks Luna, I so glad that you are enjoying the forum.
Katie Melua is wonderful, I have been a fan for a long time. I can't wait for her upcoming album.
Being a fan of Harry Potter doesn't happen to have anything to do with your choice of username does it, Luna Lovegood? ;D

She played in my home town some years ago. Still a little annoyed that I didn't get to see her.
Correct. My real name starts with a L and has four letters though. If that counts for anything! I just think it's a very pretty name.

She's one of my favourite characters in the books as well. I also love Evanna Lynch.

I loved Evanna Lynch's portrayal of Luna in the films, so dreamy, just like in the book.
I used to be such a massive fan, I even went to the World Premiere of the Goblet of Fire in 2005 and attended the final book launch. Emma Watson signed my copy of the Half-Blood Prince.
Since the final book was released I am not as much of a fan as I used to be and I prefer the books to the films, but I still love the world of Harry Potter.

You were at the world premiere and Emma signed your copy of OotP? Lucky you! I envy the fact that you live in Britain. The Harry Potter studio tour is opening in April!
Harry Potter has been such a huge part of my life. The first film was released when I was 10 and the last one when I was 20. I'm still a big fan. I prefer the books to the films as well, but I do love the films. Prisoner of Azkaban is still my favourite Potter film (and then Deathly Hallows). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite book and my favourite Potter soundtrack. John Williams is amazing.
I was in England during the summer of 2007 and it was probably the best summer of my life.

I'm a rather big Anglophile, so hopefully! Visiting Christ Church College in Oxford was brilliant. I could go on and on about Harry Potter. So I'll just stop there.
That would have been nice! I saw Alfie Enouch (Dean Thomas) in London. He has a small part in Harry Potter, but he's the most famous person I've ever seen (and he's not very famous).

Oxford is a city that I haven't seen much of yet. I would love to visit Christ Church College, I've been to a few of the Potter sites in London already, mainly Leadenhall Market (Diagon Alley) and Kings Cross and St Pancras stations. There is a Platform 9¾ sign at Kings Cross. I was wrong earlier, Emma signed my copy of Half-Blood Prince not OotP - fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/6768_211336615018_5142068_n.jpgI really hope you make it back here one day and join us for a Mary-Jess concert, or the Classcial Brit Awards, you would love it there.
