I agree wholeheartely, Mary Jess was outstanding and sang with pride and passion. She must have been very nervous but that did not show in her voice and she chose a dress fit for a royal occasion. All in all our English Rose was as Mary Poppins would say herself 'simply perfect in every way", so proud of you. Bob

She was amazing today, bless her. I think strangled cats would sound better than me if I tried to hit notes as high as she did!! Lol. Well done Jess! :-) xx

Mary-Jess was on BBC Radio Gloucestershire on Saturday morning before her big moment at Wembley. The programme is on BBC iPlayer until the end of the week www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/p00r7s15If you don't want to listen to the whole of the three hours I can tell you that Glorious was played with an introduction from about 1:55:00, and the introduction to the interview with Mary-Jess starts at 2:23:22

Thank you posting these guys. The girl became a woman. What a performer for one so young. Love her.

I was at a client meeting yesterday, and at the beginning there's the usual chit chat about the weather and the football etc... When somebody said who was that girl who sang Abide With Me to which I turned and smiled and said you mean Mary Jess. I know that young lady shes my 'friend'.
I then stood up and gave a 15 minute impromptu presentation and sales blurb on Mary Jess, the chinese xfactor equivalent, how she supported Russell Watson last year where I first met her, the album Shine, the fan forum. I even included some of our other friends, concentrating on those with albums you can get now, like Mariette, Hayley and Siobhan etc..
A couple of people wrote down the names and the websites so maybe a few more fans may have been made.

Well done Simon, I'm sure your clients will have enjoyed that more than the business you were supposed to be discussing. Just goes to show that you can't separate your interests from your working life.

An excellent Sales pitch Simon for some of our favourite artists. Have you thought about the next "Apprentice' with Sir Alan. I am sure he would havr been impressed.

I missed seeing it live because I've been out of the country, so thanks very much for the videos. I've never had any interest at all in football. The whole thing is a total bore to me so I couldn't have told you beforehand which teams would be there. Now, although I still don't know what the match was like, or who lifted the cup at the end, I can say I've seen the winning performance of that day!

I see you are a man after my own heart, Nigel, but I think even the football supporters here would agree with your conclusion. BTW somebody told me that the blue team won.

I don't seem to remember Mary Jess wearing blue John? She was clearly the winner by a mile on all accounts.
