Mary-Jess has an article in Gloucestershire's Local Answer free advert magazine. Not too long, mainly the background of how she got where she is today, but it does promise new albums and tours for 2013, and I still need to see her live... Anyone know of any up-coming dates?

Thanks for sharing this news. I think I saw a photo of the cover on facebook but didn't know about any of the contents. Is there any chance that you could scan the article and post it here? Mary-Jess has let slip a few hints about her albums, one of which will have a Christmas theme, but I haven't heard about any more live dates.

As John said Mary-Jess has mentioned more than once there is likely to be two albums released next year. As far as I'm aware she hasn't mentioned anything on any live dates :/

I shall see if I can get our scanner to work, but it's not been used in a while... And I'd love to see her live, but my experience has been that I'll only find out about shows a few days in advance, and haven't got enough time to save up for a ticket or two.

As far as I'm aware she hasn't mentioned anything on any live dates :/ Hi, I heard an interview (online) from the local Gloucester Radio station before Christmas. She was making a Christmas Album for next Christmas and said it was good to be doing it at the right time. She also said another album was in the pipeline for next Summer. However she also said plans were afoot for a 'Cathedral tour' of the Country in the run in to Christmas 2013 !Hayley did a similar one a few years ago, I managed to catch her at Ripon ! Mary Jess only gave away that (naturally) Gloucester Cathedral was one on the list. Something for us to look forward to ;D Graham C

Thanks Graham Hopefully if there is a tour planned, then we will get early enough notice to book. So many of Mary-Jess's live events have only been advertised at very late notice. I was lucky enough to get to the three in March but haven't managed any since then. I'm still hoping for Mary-Jess to pop up a few more times during the year.

Hi, One other thing I remember was that the interviewer asked if 'KEEP THE FLAME ' would be a track on the christmas CD. Mary-Jess would not say a definite 'yes' but the impression I got from her answer was that it was more than likely Graham C

A 'cathedral' tour sounds exciting because it's likely the dates and venues might be known a little more ahead of time and, by definition a tour means more than one event in more of a spread of places - and - the suggestion of maybe two albums this year. Wow!
