I have now booked for this I don't know how table allocations will be made but, as the ticket price includes a meal, I would be happy to join with any other forum members who may be going.

Just received my ticket in today's post. It says 'Unreserved' so I guess it's first come first served for places at tables. Either that, or it's an indication of the behaviour expected. Is anybody joining me? (You can choose to sit at a different table if that's the way you feel )

Being billed as the pre-dinner entertainment, I had feared that Mary-Jess’s performance might be short and sweet. I needn’t have worried – with 11 songs, this was perhaps the longest set list Mary-Jess has ever performed at a public event. A Case of You (Joni Mitchell) Are You the Way Home? My Own Sunrise Higher Love (Steve Winwood) Titanium Mercy Wo Yuan Yi Good Day Glorious Rising From the Fire Lighthouse of Mine All the songs were performed with just guitar accompaniment from Greg Lake. It was wonderful to hear Mary-Jess live again, after a wait of over 15 months since Southampton in March 2012. There were two intensely sweet moments for me. ‘My Own Sunrise’ is one of my favourite tracks from Shine, and would have been my first suggestion if asked what I would like to hear Mary-Jess sing live – it was divine. And anyone who knows me well through this forum will know about ‘Lighthouse of Mine’. Mary-Jess’s performance was intimate yet powerful, and predictably brought tears to my eyes. After an excellent dinner, more music was provided by the highly entertaining ‘Tenors Unlimited’, with Mary-Jess joining them for their final encore – ‘Time to Say Goodbye’. Photos later

Yes, it was wonderful to hear so much from Mary-Jess Mary-Jess is so appreciative of fans coming to support her, but I think the price of this event put many of her regular fans off, as there was no choice but to pay for the inclusive dinner.
