Thank you Ken,
Absolutely beautiful picture of Mary-Jess.
It is GLORIOUS day here in Southampton. I have just checked into my hotel and my room had the heating on with the window closed! ;D
Looking forward to the concert tonight.

Have fun folks! Thrilled that you can attend three MJ concert in a little more than a week. Nothing like a live concert especially when she is so accessible after her performance. Unfortunately, I can only listen to her CD. Seeing her perform live is certainly on my bucket list

We saw a wonderful performance from Mary-Jess earlier tonight and it was another concert which was well worth making the trip for. As this was for charity Mary-Jess performed five songs to backing tracks... Did I Make The Most Of Loving You? Glorious Heaven Stand As One Lighthouse Of Mine Heaven was absolutely lovely just like the video and for this song Mary-Jess was accompanied by a fantastic young dancer. Her voice was stunning and her performance full of emotion. We had an extra treat as before the concert we saw Mary-Jess doing her sound check and even then I knew it was worth going. She then came up to meet us as she knew she wouldn’t be able to afterwards which was so lovely of her. For the rest of the concert there were some good performances and some really talented youngsters, we saw singers, dancers and some acts from Annie too. The only downside was I didn’t win in the Harry Potter raffle Turner Sims is such a lovely intimate venue with stadia style seating, even though we were some rows back we still felt close and had a great view. I took lots of photos but my camera is playing up and I can’t view them, I hope they are still on the SD card and I will post them when I return home tomorrow. These three concerts over the past eight days have been such a fantastic experience and I have been and will remain on such a high, Mary-Jess is wonderful performing live and such a lovely person to meet too. I can’t wait until I get the chance to see her again. She really is amazing. Dazza

Having been warned that Mary-Jess would not be able to stay after the concert, I arrived a little earlier than planned to find Dazza and Len already waiting in the foyer. Mary-Jess had already arrived, but we were hoping that she would find time to come out and meet us. Performers came and went, and only about 30 minutes before the concert was due to start, I peeped through the auditorium door to see a familiar figure centre stage. Creeping through the door, we were treated to Mary-Jess doing her soundcheck - a bonus . Mary-Jess waved when she saw us and when she had finished came out to meet us in the foyer. She also happily autographed flyers for the rapidly forming queue of children who spotted her. Mary-Jess was the first act of the concert, and sang five songs (to backing tracks as she had previously told us) - Did I make the most of loving you Glorious Heaven Stand as one Lighthouse of mine The concert was in aid of Brain Tumour Awareness, in memory of Sam, a girl who had died aged 17 from a brain tumour. The rest of the first half consisted mainly of music and dancing from some of Sam's friends and pupils from her school. The first half lasted two hours and the show was to continue after a half hour interval with a selection of rock bands but, having not had much sleep this week, I decided to leave them to it and come home.

Hope you feel better soon Andy. I too have been suffering but from a nasty head and chest cold which seems to be slowly improving otherwise I would have been at Southampton too.
Dazza and John, many thanks for your reports and the photos - I hope you manage to retrieve yours ok Dazza. So pleased you were able to hear her sound check and meet Mary-Jess before the concert, worth the travel alone!
Looking forward to seeing you at future concerts, hoping that the one at The Elgin happens soon :-)

That's a shame Dazza; never mind, one photo is better than none at all! Thanks to all for your reports and photos, hope I'm able to join you at a Mary-Jess performance before too long! Just unfortunate that I had things arranged for the dates of the North Leach and Southampton concerts. I used to work at Soton University some years ago, as a security officer!

It is a shame you couldn't make it Danny.
What a place Turner Sims was to find though, the taxi driver didn't have a clue and just dropped me somewhere in the middle of university leaving me to find it using my phones GPS.
It was than that a car pulled up alongside me, sitting there in the passenger seat was Mary-Jess, smiling up at me asking how I was and how my journey went. Such a lovely girl.

Thanks for the report and pictures guys. I did wonder what the outburst from Dazza on Twitter was all about earlier. Now I know.
One picture is better than nothing, you got to see her in person - yet again!!
