Another wonderful evening in the company of Mary-Jess to cap off what will be one of the most memorable weekends I have had for a long time. I was still on such a high from a Friday's concert and having only found out 24 hours previously that I could go to this one I floated through work yesterday. Leaving Stoke at 4.20pm we made Northleach in good time for a quick bite to eat before heading up to the church. Unlike Friday there wasn't as many in the church at all and we soon took our seats on the front row, there was a nice set up with Mary-Jess' parasol which looked lovely against the backdrop of the Church. Mary-Jess was absolutely fantastic again, starting off with Glorious I was instantly lost once again in the beauty of her voice, her performance of Good Day, a new song she had written about a darker period in her life was outstanding, you could really see and feel the emotions in her voice. After the concert Mary-Jess was once again absolutely lovely, taking time to chat, sign CD's and pose for photos with the parasol. Then it was back to the pub again where sadly Graham, Len and Jim had to depart early. Mary-Jess spent further time with us chatting, and more time for another photo too. It was another memorable evening and just like Friday it was so worth the effort it took to attend, I have never done it for any other artist but would do it again for Mary-Jess in a flash, I think she is absolutely amazing. Here are my photos....

Thanks for the report and photos, Dazza. I love those moments where Mary-Jess looks straight at you while she is singing. Andy, you have done better than I at remembering the songs. I couldn't even have told you there were nine - it didn't seem like that many. As Mary-Jess said, "Gosh, that went quickly". Maybe something more will come back to me.

Stunning photos Len. That was fantastic, the reaction as soon as Mary-Jess picked up her parasol! She looks thrilled and I don't think she expected it either ;D
I agree John, A few times last night Mary-Jess looked straight at me and smiled, and that added to the emotion in her voice made her performance feel that little bit more intimate and memorable.

Did you say just a few photos John? Thank you for sharing these lovely photos with us? I think as the Forum progresses and the members increase so will the attendance at these events. It will be like a big family re-union.

Hi, Many thanks to Andy, Dazza, Len and John for your reports and stunning photos. Just as I was coming down after Friday's concert, I was up on a high again on Monday being treated to another phenominal performance from Mary-Jess. There weren't as many people there than on Friday, but it did mean that I got a front row seat! The classics from Shine were performed as well as Titanium, one in Chinese as well as Good Day. Good Day clearly meant a lot to Mary-Jess as you could quite clearly hear the emotion in her voice. She concluded the evening happily posing with her small parasol before signing copies of Shine. And there is something very special if you manage to get a picture of her just as she's looking directly at you. Afterwards, like Friday, it was then back to The Red Lion. By the time I caught up with her she was relaxing at a table with Liz and a couple of others so I didn't want to disturb her much. I simply thanked her for yet another wonderful performance and asked if the parasol was the one used on the front cover of Shine. She replied that it wasn't but was the one used in the Glorious video. I left, still very much on a high, looking forward to the next time. Anyway, some photos. Hope you enjoy them. Regards, Jim

Many thanks guys for your reports and truly fantastic photos. Front row seats to see the wonderful Mary-Jess and hear that beautiful voice. It surely doesn't get any better than that - I only wish I could have been there with you.

I want the parasol! Argh! Whenever Adam and I are in a oriental place I'm looking for those parasols! They are so beautiful! <3 <3
If you guys see her before I do - please ask her where she got hers from! (I hope she doesn't say China...)
