The Seekers are 4 concerts into a U.K tour of 15 celebrating their 50th Anniversary.
On Saturday the tour bus rolls into the 'Sage' at Gateshead. It has been an ambition of mine to see them for many years. I bought the tickets over a year ago but the initial tour, last Autumn, was canceled due to Judith's stroke. I feared the worst but happily all is now O.K.for Saturday.
I can then cross that off my list of ' Things I must do'.
I hope in future I can cross off seeing Mary-Jess: if she ventures north of Cheltenham in her next U.K.tour !

Seekers? UK Tour?? How did I miss that??? I still have all of their sixties hits firmly imprinted in my memory, which is more than can be said for most pop music in the intervening years. The Royal Albert Hall seems to be beckoning for 2nd or 3rd June BTW, you can never cross Mary-Jess off a list. Once you have seen her once, the urgency to see her again becomes all the greater Maybe you won't have too long to wait before she ventures further north

Haha, you're right there; I got the last box seat at the RAH. All that is left now for either performance is restricted view. Hope you had a great time tonight

Hope you had a great time tonight Hi John, Yes it was a great evening....... Bought back many great memories. The idea of mixing 'Historical footage' from their heyday worked very well. It was enjoyable for the audience, and gave those on stage time to get their breath back ! Think you will enjoy the R.A.H. especially if it is their last concert, which probably will be their 'Last'. One thing crossed of my list still a few more to go though ! Graham C
