I was interested to read in the Telegraph article that Ken posted HERE where Tom Lewis of Decca "sees Mary-Jess appealing to fans of Enya and Katherine Jenkins but also Sigur Rós" It just so happens that Sigur Ros are one of my all time favourite bands and I have always wanted to see a more classical version of Hoppipolla. The piano and strings are already beautiful and I think Mary-Jess would do a brilliant job with the singing, especially with the higher notes towards the end, it is a good mixture of classical and pop and I think she would love the challenge of the Icelandic lyrics too. Hoppipolla has been covered by Jonathan Ansell on his second album 'Forever'. Kind regards, Your local classical crossover songlist encyclopedia

Thanks Nicola, I did not know that, I'll have to check it out.
I'd still love to see Mary-Jess do a version of it.

I posted this song on Facebook earlier, listening to it over again I think that Mary-Jess would do an absolutely beautiful version of this.
