I'm really looking forward to Sisca's new album

We are planning an informal get together for Sisca's friends and fans to meet her during her family holiday to the UK. This is not a concert, but we are hoping that Sisca will sing a few songs during the evening.

This will be on Saturday evening 7th July in South West London.
To help keep track of numbers, it is an invitation only event. My UK based facebook friends have already been invited. If anyone else would like to come, please send me a personal message.

Sisca left me a few copies of her CD 'Impermanent Life', but not enough for everyone who previously expressed an interest via this thread.

If you would still like one, please send me a PM with your postal address. I will allocate them on a first come, first served basis to those who have already stated that they wanted one. If they are not all claimed within a week, then I will consider requests from others.

I have safely received a copy of the Sisca cd which I have not stopped playing since it arrived. It is a wonderful record. Very many thanks for sending John, and also of course a huge thank you to Sisca.

Glad you are enjoying the album, Mike. I think mine was played fairly constantly for a while after I received it, and still returns to my CD player very often.

12 January 2011, some time around 7 pm was the first time I saw this video.



At that time all that was publicly available from Sisca was this and two tracks on her fb page - Time and Beautiful. It was enough to make me a fan.

A little later that evening, Sisca's profile appeared on the CCUK website. She had had the same effect on Nicola that she had on me.

I haven't a clue how many views the video had back then, nor how many times I have watched it since, but it is now approaching 10,000 views according to YouTube.

If you haven't heard Sisca sing, you are missing something really special. Please give her a listen.

If you have heard her before, then treat yourself and listen again. You know she is worth it.

I know it is only a number, but please help Sisca reach this milestone.

Thanks for posting this John. Sisca is an incredibly talented artist. She really is very special. I keep searching for news of her but it is very difficult to find any. For anybody who has not heard her please take a listen and give her all your support. In particular you could vote for her on the CCUK website. I so much hope that such a genuinely wonderful talent is not going to be lost to us.

• Sisca graduated from university in Jakarta last Saturday with a Sarjana Hukum (Bachelor of Law) degree.
  
• Miumiu (Sisca's chihuahua) has a new handmade necklace.
  
• Sisca's second album was recorded last year, but release plans are still to be finalized.
